In a vast democratic setup like India, public policy and the ensuing architectures of service delivery are the most critical instruments of citizen welfare. The true test of democratic governance lies not merely in the eloquence of its legislation and policies, but in the precision and dependability with which public services reach the everyday citizen.

Even beyond my professional engagements in the realm of public policy and service delivery, I have an enduring interest with real-world case studies where sound, well-crafted policy successfully translated into exemplary, last-mile execution.

Role of Data

Empirical & Data-Driven Policy Design

For me, the role of numbers, statistics, and empirical data is just as essential as the qualitative context surrounding them. I am a strong proponent of empirical, data-driven policy formulation and service delivery design, where quantitative rigor informs structural choices, minimises systemic leakages, and ensures interventions are measurable, responsive, and accountable.

The True Test
I believe the success of any policy must ultimately be measured by its tangible impact on the person standing at the very end of the queue.
